Everything you need to cook dinner, in one tidy little bundle. A classic Trangia alcohol stove, windscreen (that doubles as a support for pots and pans), a .8 liter aluminum cooking pot, a 6” non-stick skillet, and a handle for both.

Alcohol stoves like this one are our favorite for a bike tour. Fuel can be found on even the most remote routes. Even rubbing alcohol can be used in a pinch (though we don’t recommend it—it’s very sooty). They’re also pleasantly quiet—something you might not appreciate til the next time you’re making coffee next to someone with a screaming Jetboil setup.

This particular setup was designed back in 1985 for the Karrimor International Mountain Marathon. It’s still awesome.
